- Never dry paint with a bath towel. Cotton loops drag grit; use a clean microfiber drying towel or let a coated car self-sheet.

- Bird droppings are a same-day problem. They etch clear coat in hours under sun. Flood with water, blot, never wipe dry.

- Skip the tunnel wash brushes. Touchless is fine in a pinch; spinning brushes are where swirl marks come from.
